The St. Matthews Police Department is driven by one vision and a core set of mission statements. We adhere to a chain of command to be the most effective and efficient we can be. Our Department consists of the Executive Command Staff, Operations Bureau and the Support Bureau. Our City lies in the heart of Louisville Metro and jurisdictional boundaries intertwine between the Louisville Metro Police’s Eighth and Fifth Divisions. We have included a jurisdictional map which may help in determining city boundaries. Regardless, we have established an excellent working relationship with Louisville Metro Police and will respond to any emergency run in our area.
